NEWS - The "NEW" Canadian Women's Hockey League

2010-06-07

The Canadian Women’s Hockey League is in the process of re-structuring to allow players, coaches and general managers to participate in a professional and elite hockey league.

This new structure will see the league go down to 5 teams (Montreal, Toronto, Burlington, Brampton, Boston).

As the game of hockey continues to grow, our league must do the same by providing an on-ice product that includes some of the most elite hockey players in the world.

The Canadian Women's Hockey League is soliciting applications from general managers, coaches, and players interested in being involved with the Women’s Elite Performance league next year. Qualified general managers and coaches, as well as elite players are invited to submit an application of interest to the CWHL office. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications and resumes will be handled in the strictest confidence, with all material submitted becoming the property of the CWHL.
